Who we are
DizzySafe is a registered brand operated by SN SERVICES, a Belgian company with its registered office at Spiegelhofvoetweg 45, 1850 Grimbergen, Belgium. Our VAT number is BE0805.402.381. You may contact us at any time via email at dizzysafe@gmail.com regarding questions about your personal data or this Privacy Policy.
Our website and e-commerce system are hosted on the Odoo platform, which acts as a data processor. Odoo only processes data on our instructions and under our responsibility, in compliance with GDPR.
What personal data we collect
When you place an order, request a quotation or create an account on our website, we collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, and – for B2B clients – company name and VAT number. We also collect order details and payment confirmations (but not your full credit card number).
When you browse our website, we automatically collect certain information through cookies, such as your IP address, browser type, visited pages, and interaction data. This helps us improve functionality, user experience and website security.
When you contact us by email or through forms, we collect and store any personal information you voluntarily provide.
We do not collect sensitive personal data unless strictly required by law or provided by you voluntarily.
Why and how we use your data
We process your personal data for specific purposes, including processing and shipping your order, providing customer support, preparing quotes, sending invoices, and complying with legal obligations.
In some cases, we use your data to improve our services and website, prevent fraud or security breaches, or send you marketing communications – but only if you gave explicit consent.
We ensure that we only collect the data necessary for each task and that it is not used for any unrelated purpose.
Legal basis for processing
All processing of personal data is based on one or more of the legal grounds defined in Article 6 of the GDPR. In most cases, the data is processed:
- to fulfil a contract with you (e.g. order delivery),
- because we are legally required to (e.g. accounting),
- based on our legitimate interest (e.g. service optimisation, fraud prevention),
- or based on your explicit consent (e.g. newsletter subscription).
You always have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected. For example, we keep order and invoice data for at least seven years to comply with Belgian tax law. Account information is kept as long as your account remains active. If you do not use your account for three years, we will delete or anonymise it.
Personal data related to quote requests or general inquiries is stored for up to three years after our last contact. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
After these periods, data is securely deleted or fully anonymised for analytical use.
Who has access to your data
We never sell your personal data. We only share it with third parties when necessary and under strict contractual agreements.
This includes:
- our hosting and platform provider (Odoo),
- our payment partners (such as Mollie and PayPal),
- shipping companies who deliver your order,
- professional IT or analytics service providers, and
- legal or public authorities if required by law.
All external service providers must comply with GDPR and are only allowed to process your data for agreed purposes.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy of it. You can also ask us to correct inaccurate data or delete your personal data under certain conditions.
In some cases, you may request that we limit our use of your data, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. If we rely on your consent for a specific use of your data, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via dizzysafe@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights are being violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
Cookies and online tracking
We use cookies on our website to support essential functions such as login sessions, cart content and interface language. We also use optional cookies to understand website usage (e.g. through Google Analytics) and to track the performance of our campaigns.
You can find a full list of cookies and their purpose on our separate Cookie Policy page.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings. If you do so, some parts of the website may no longer function properly, but you can still access our services.
Please note that third-party services (such as advertising platforms) may also place cookies. We are not responsible for their cookie usage or tracking practices.
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals, as no industry standard exists for this technology.
How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or alteration. This includes encrypted connections, access control, and secure hosting.
However, no system is entirely immune to breaches. We cannot guarantee absolute security and cannot be held responsible for data loss resulting from hacking, phishing, or force majeure beyond our control.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and secure.
International data transfers
We try to ensure that all your data is processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). If a service provider is based outside the EEA, we only work with companies that provide adequate data protection through standard contractual clauses or similar legal mechanisms, in line with GDPR requirements.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legislation or our services. The current version will always be available on our website, along with the date of the last update. In the case of significant changes, we may inform you by email or via a notice on the homepage.
